This past weekend, Nick presented his work as part of a research symposium at the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies 38th Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia. Nick’s talk, which was part of a larger symposium on intergenerational mechanisms of risk and resilience, highlighted key pathways from caregivers’ experiences of childhood abuse to their use of harsh and aggressive parenting in adulthood.
