The HCFD Research Assistants (RAs) are carefully selected, thoroughly trained, continuously supported, and make invaluable contributions to the success of our lab. Below is a list of specific criteria for applicants to our lab and corresponding application/contact information.

Research Assistant Applicant Requirements
- 10 hours of availability per week
- Willingness to attend weekly lab meetings and performance feedback meetings for professional development
- Must be willing to commit to your position for 1 year (including the summer)
- GPA of 3.25 and higher preferred
- Plans to attend graduate school in a psychology related field preferred (e.g., clinical psychology, developmental psychology, social work, medicine, education)
- Interest in research topics examined in the HCFD lab preferred (e.g., child maltreatment, ADHD, behavior problems, delinquency, violence exposure, resiliency, educational interventions, family services, provision of evidence-based services in the community)
- Attention to detail is a must in order to ensure the quality of our data and service provision to local community families
- Ability to speak and/or write in Spanish is well-regarded
