Layla Jones, a third-year undergraduate psychology major and MARC scholar presented here at the S3 Research Symposium at San Diego State University. Layla delivered an individual poster presentation on The Cumulative Effects of Bereavement on Mental Health and Life Skill Development Among At-Risk Adolescents. She discussed how Adolescents who experience the death of someone close to them at a young age negatively impacts their mental health, academic, and occupational functioning.
